See this downloadable and printable PDF BROCHURE for the most info on What We Take, and what we do not. It contains examples and details on how to sort, as well as info on where materials go and how they get used. (You can pick one up at GO, as well.)

We take only CLEAN recyclables (dirty, wet, moldy or mousey materials can get a whole load rejected at the recycling buyers and make the load landfill), and only clean and usable Thrift and ATS Clothing items (no scrap or junk--items get passed along in the condition you bring them.)
Very briefly , GO Recycle takes Aluminum beverage and Tin food cans, Corrugated Cardboard and Mixed Paper, #1 Clear and #2 Translucent plastics that have necks or screw tops, and E-CYCLING. We do NOT take any glass, baling twine, or scrap metal (try Cuttin Steel) and GO Again Thrift loves donations of lumber, pipe, building materials, tools and fixtures, household goods, lightly used wood or metal furniture (but NO upholstered items or particle board, like in a lot of shelving and cabinets,) NO ceiling fans, vacuums, sewing machines, glass vases, microwaves at this time (we have 2 many, ) and our partners at ATS take gently used, clean Clothing and Accessories for use abroad. Sort and bag these separately from recycling and Thrift
Again, see the Brochure for real details and examples of what goes where
